Jesus said, “I will build My Church…” There is a single organization that teaches the entire truth of the Bible, and is called to live by “every word of God.” Do you know how to find it? Christ said it would:

  • Teach “all things” He commanded
  • Have called out members set apart by truth
  • Be a “little flock”

Is the use of smokeless tobacco wrong?

Most understand that tobacco has many different poisons. And, seemingly everyone understands the dangers of smoking. The mass media constantly informs us of its harmful effects. Yet, for all the publicity surrounding tobacco use, many ignore the dangers of smokeless tobacco. It has been known to cause certain cancers of the mouth and throat, and contributes to other sicknesses.

Tobacco is harmful to the body. Notice what the apostle Paul wrote to Corinth: “Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which you are” (I Cor. 3:16-17). If we are to properly care for and respect our bodies, we must abstain from all tobacco use. If tobacco use is a habit, the Christian must overcome it.

While this may be difficult to accomplish, it can be done. Read our articles “The Truth About Smoking” and “You Can Overcome and Prevent Sin,” to learn how to beat harmful habits.
