Jesus said, “I will build My Church…” There is a single organization that teaches the entire truth of the Bible, and is called to live by “every word of God.” Do you know how to find it? Christ said it would:

  • Teach “all things” He commanded
  • Have called out members set apart by truth
  • Be a “little flock”

Does Revelation 3:14 mean that Christ was created by God?

This verse does not mean that Christ was created by God. The phrase “the beginning of the creation of God” is correctly defined as the beginner of all creation (see Colossians 1:15-17). Christ is the King of creation. The Bible plainly states that Christ (known as Melchizedek in Old Testament times) had “…neither beginning of days nor end of life” (Heb. 7:1-3).

Some cite Proverbs 8:22-25 as proof that Christ was created. However, this scripture is clearly a personification of wisdom (note verse 1). It is not a reference to God. It shows that God possessed wisdom from the beginning and used it in fashioning the universe.

Christ has always existed. He was with the Father from the beginning. He was not created, but was the Creator of all things (Col. 1:16; John 1:1-3).
