Jesus said, “I will build My Church…” There is a single organization that teaches the entire truth of the Bible, and is called to live by “every word of God.” Do you know how to find it? Christ said it would:

  • Teach “all things” He commanded
  • Have called out members set apart by truth
  • Be a “little flock”

Can we wear things that say “angel” on them?

It has become a popular trend to wear clothing and other fashion accessories displaying images commonly associated with humanly-devised ideas of what angels look like (and to also display paraphernalia – such as bumper stickers, banners, etc., making use of the names of God and Christ). The word “angel,” of and by itself, can carry various connotations, depending on the context in which it is used. To wear an article of clothing that simply makes use of the word (without any direct or implied reference to a literal angelic being) is not wrong.

However, this may be difficult to do and, therefore, it would be best to avoid such clothing altogether. An obvious error would come in wearing something that displays a depiction (partial or full) of such a being, which would be a violation of the Second Commandment (Ex. 20:4). Also notice Revelation 19:10 and 22:9, which show that angels are not to be worshipped.
