One resident said, “Our street looked like it was hit by a hurricane. It looks like the apocalypse. It’s unreal. One-hundred-year-old trees are down.”
A spokesman for National Grid said, “This is certainly a storm and restoration effort that ranks among the most significant we’ve ever had.”
