Jesus said, “I will build My Church…” There is a single organization that teaches the entire truth of the Bible, and is called to live by “every word of God.” Do you know how to find it? Christ said it would:

  • Teach “all things” He commanded
  • Have called out members set apart by truth
  • Be a “little flock”

How to Be a Lady or a Gentleman

In regard to conversation, you should...

• Always think before you speak. By doing this, you will avoid many unnecessary misunderstandings and offenses.

• Make it your goal when talking with others to brighten their mood and make them smile. Ask questions about their lives to show you care about them.

• Give others the opportunity to share details of their lives instead of talking about yourself for extended periods of time.

• Be mindful of the way in which you express yourself. Choose your words carefully. Ask, “Could the other person take this the wrong way and become unnecessarily offended?”

• Practice becoming a better listener. Force yourself to bite your tongue and listen to what the other person is saying. Remember to always listen, listen, listen.

• Generally speaking, maintain eye contact with whom you are conversing. And do not forget to at least briefly make eye contact with everyone in the conversation if you are talking with a group. This will make everyone feel included in the discussion.
