Teens will often go to great lengths in their pursuit of pleasure. But can you imagine someone seeking out seeds to “get high”?
Workers at an Oklahoma City nursery became suspicious after groups of teens kept showing up to purchase seeds. It turns out that their goal was not to acquire seeds for planting purposes; their goal was to buy Heavenly Blues morning glory seeds for the purpose of extracting certain chemicals.
Similar to LSD, morning glory seeds contain a hallucinogenic chemical. Apparently, when one digests such, he experiences an “LSD-like trip.” It is not difficult to learn about—a simple Google search provides a wealth of information for those eager to find a new “pleasure.” Recipes for proper chemical extraction were among the first items included in the search results.
User testimonials include detailed psychedelic trips and less pleasant journeys—even nightmarish experiences. One person described his Heavenly Blue “trip” as waking up in cold sweats with the most terrible intestinal discomfort he has ever had.
While possessing the seeds is perfectly legal (and can be found at most garden centers and nurseries), possessing the extracted chemical is illegal.
Of course, this will not stop those who are seeking a quick and easy “high.”
While newspapers, magazines and other news media report what happened, The Real Truth analyzes and explains the root cause of why events happen—why humanity is at a loss to solve today’s problems.
